Overview:

Being a member of Eric's Piano School, you have access to one of the most revolutionary piano apps on the market currently. Perhaps you have already seen the value in the Piano Marvel App. It is able to give real-time feedback to students AND gamify the experience to make it more engaging the piano - just a couple of it's benefits. I have put together this webpage so that you don't have to go through the hassle of figuring out how to setup the technology.

I have separated the page into 2 distinct methods of connection (USB to Host and MIDI connector cables and 2 different devices (Labtop, iPad). In order to get the proper outcome, you will need to purchase the proper cables. I have put together an Amazon Wish List of ALL the times you will need that will easily provide an amazing return for your student quickly!

Technical Hardware:

USB to Host: Also known as a printer cable, you simply plug the MIDI end into your keyboard and the USB into your Macbook for easy setup. Scroll to the 3rd section if you intend on using iPad.

Verify that your keyboard has this port as shown right.

Midi In/Out: You will need a different cable if you don't have a USB to host. Some of the high end yamaha synthesizers seem to be finnicky about their USB port so I would suggest getting these circular cables if you have these models.

iPads with Thundercable charging port (not iPad 2):
If you intend to use an iPad, there is one additional item that you need to purchase along with the one of the two cables shown above depending on your keyboard. This is called an iPad camera adapter that allows you to plug in a USB and charge the iPad at the same time!
