Eric's Piano School Teaching Philosophy:
Our teaching philosophy is centered around three core missions: making the lesson experience fun, teaching students to play musically, and helping kids fall in love with music.​

In our lessons, we balance structure with creativity to ensure they love their lessons. Our ultimate goal is to inspire and guide our students to reach their full musical potential and to develop a lifelong passion for music.

Our Students:

• Learn to play 35-50 songs in their first year.
• Compose and improvise their own music (even my beginners!)
• Love coming to lessons.
• Leverage technology to enlist a student to become an independent learner.
• Enroll in exams through the Royal Conservatory of Music
• Have gone on to study music at the conservatory level.

My Credentials:

• 25 years of piano experience, over 16,000 lessons taught, 5th generation pianist and teacher.
• Certified Royal Conservatory of Music Instructor with a speciality in elementary level students.
• ​Licensed in Simply Music Piano Method.
• Trained in Taubman Piano Method to reduce injury and feel total freedom at the piano.
• Student of International Piano Competition Winner Samuel Grodin DMA (Faculty at the Colburn School and CSULB)
• 2-time Drum Corps International World Champion
• Double Major B.S. Chemistry and Biochemistry, top 10% of UCSB 2015 class.

Location:

Eric's Piano School is based in Fountain Valley. The location of my studio is just off the I-405 Brookhurst exit. The Piano-At-Home teachers also continue to provide the convenience of mobile piano lessons in your home.
