Welcome to Eric's Piano School. These agreements are in place to clearly communicate expectations and policies to ensure the best possible music education experience for both parties.

Lesson Termination:
Release of Liability:
By enrolling in our studio, you release Eric's Piano School and its staff from any claims or damages in the unlikely event of injury sustained during musical activities. If there is an injury or other negligent action involving the teacher and student, you release liability by checking this form.
Membership Benefits:
Lesson books and materials are provided and included in tuition prices.
Media Release:
Eric's Piano School reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken at the teaching location. By enrolling, you give permission for your image to be recorded or photographed for EPS use. If you do not wish to have your image recorded or photographed, please send written notice to [email protected]
Agreements:
Tuition & Attendance Policy
- Tuition is based on a flat monthly rate, not the number of lessons attended in a given month. Tuition is calculated by ensuring 45 classes per year, averaged out into 12 equal monthly flat rate payments. Missed lessons are not available for refund.
- Our studio observes seven recognized holidays throughout the year where performing makeups is not necessary, along with recital dates. You can view these on our calendar at ericpiano.com/calendar.
- If a student cancels a lesson, their teacher will do their best to add time/reschedule where possible in future lessons.
- If a teacher cancels, they will provide a makeup lesson or a refund for the missed session.
- Tuition not only covers lesson time but also contributes to recitals, student materials, professional photography at events, and other perks that come with being a member of our studio.
Cancellations and Rescheduling:
- We are happy to provide unlimited makeups with the proper notice. Day-before notice is required for a makeup credit. (i.e. - message us at 10pm the night before your lesson and we will find an alternative for you).
- Excused illness absence is acceptable same-day until 10AM.
- Makeup credits can be used within 30 days of the original cancellation, though not available for refund.
- No-Show lessons are not eligible to be made up.
Lesson Termination:
- We simply have month to month enrollment, so if you decide that you need to pause your weekly lesson schedule, all we ask from you is to put your intent to pause in writing at [email protected] or text me directly 707-337-6079 before the 1st of any new month to avoid future charges.
- Late notice after the first will not be eligible for refund.
- Unused lessons from lesson termination occurring in the middle of the month will not be eligible for refund (extreme circumstances can be reviewed case by case)

- Piano Express Software (60$ per year)
- 2 Recitals
